Life Happens

I expect everyone’s summer has been everything you wished it to be, hopefully more.

I’ve been a bit quiet here, not because of anything that was negative. I’ve just had a lot going on – good stuff – that I dove into. And I promise you I thought of you often. I have been busy working on a few projects that are going to make me a better coach, all of which are exciting and motivating. I am working very hard for my future, and that means I am working very hard for your future. But I am not quite ready to make my public announcements – some things you’ll just have to wait and learn with the rest of ’em.

I also took some time for myself this summer and practiced self-care. I relaxed a bit, and had some beautiful and lazy days – not guilting myself or pushing myself to keep a strict schedule. I exercised outside instead of indoors (unless it was 100 degrees!) I made some new friends. I learned new recipes, and did a few of my favorite things. I took a few classes, and I volunteered at some events.

I re-connected with a group of people that I haven’t seen in probably 20 years. At first I was shy, and stood on the side and observed. I was the one who had gone off from the group. I had to figure out if anyone was upset with me, and I had to figure out what had changed (not much did!). I enjoyed how each person grew, and also how the group dynamic grew and strengthened. I had to figure out if I still fit in. I felt shame, guilt, fear, and even disconnected. But thankfully all of those feelings went away quickly. No one judged me for anything I did, I came to cherish the life I created and lived without them because that was what I was meant to do, and my feelings all seem silly now because these were my closest friends that I grew up with, and when they saw me – they only expressed love for me and joy to be with me. I have been hanging out with them a lot. It feels to good to remember your roots, and then KNOW that they are good roots. I feel lucky to have had this experience, and I will do whatever it takes to make sure these friendships stay strong.

So suffice it to say as summer is wrapping up I am feeling like life is good – Very Good. I found a nice balance that makes me happy – balance that I plan to nurture. And I am confident that all the changes I am planning for are going to be Amazing. This is where you should cheer and get excited because that means you get to reap the benefits – I can’t wait to share my gifts with you all.

Thank You for your continued support, and I look forward to growing with you. ~Lisa

HOW TO SCHEDULE WITH ME

The Beautiful part of Coaching is, I can work with Anyone, Anywhere!

If you’re local then it’s best we hold sessions in person. But I do also hold Coaching Sessions via Skype for those of you who are not within a comfortable driving distance.  And the good old-fashioned telephone is still an excellent way to receive the Coaching you need. There’s also Gmail chat & FaceTime!

Contact me at LK.CEPC@gmail.com or 443-552-0750 to schedule your appointments.

443-552-0750 btw is a Skype phone number. You DO NOT need to have Skype to use this phone number – anyone can dial it and reach me, simply leave a message and I’ll get back to you within 1-2 business days.

The best way to connect with me on Skype is by searching the phrase letsdish.lk, and  LK CEPC will be asked for a contact request. Once we’re contact connected – calls are easy-peasy! Skype to Skype calls are free and I Love the fact that we get to see eachother! *I request that you use video because a great deal of my Coaching skills come with the ability to also read your body language. *Please make sure you have a strong wi-fi connection – and treat our Skype sessions with the same respect as you would an in-person session. Make sure you are in a private space with no distractions and competing noises. Just as you would for an in-person session, I ask that you detach yourself from hand held devices and similar disruptive gadgets.

Understand that when we hold regular telephone sessions – on my end there’s a fee from Skype, which I will pass on to you.

Gmail chat is also a great way to connect – as long as you have the video option.

FaceTime is an option if you’re a Mac user – because I am.

Thank You! & Hopes to see you soon
