Rooted. Alive. Sensation. Energy. Emotional. Connection. Enhanced. Affirmative. Pleasure. Desire. Power. Passion. Uninhibited. Joy. Fulfilled. Expression. Light.
– Love, as defined by some. But what if, when you look in the mirror, you feel “other”.
Shy. Dark. Mistrust. Fear. Reduced. Defective. Invisible. Broken. Unworthy. Absent.
It’s ok how you feel, for it’s not your fault. As you grew up and saw and heard things for the first time, the words and actions of others made an impression on you. And you either emulated it, or retracted from it … with time, you made it your own.
If your list for the words embossed on those adorable candy hearts are of the postive variety, then please, continue to go around doling out Love without hesitation.
But if you choose not to partake in the confectionary crushers, then an unveiling is due upon you.
As with Life, Love is all about perception. You have the choice. You have the capabilities. It’s a matter of choice. You can choose to see and feel and be worthy; or you can be the observer, and continue to feel “other”. You get to choose how you tune in, and take heed your desires.
As an Eating Psychology Coach I understand that many of us struggle with how we look and feel in our bodies, and you know by now that my mission is to help those who struggle – overcome that which is not necessary. Love Your Body, Love Yourself is my theme this month, as we embrace our very own sense of aliveness – in order to let go of the many fears, disbeliefs, and unwanted habits that may be keeping us from Love.
There’s no time like the present, and waiting to look or feel a certain way, only stalls Love, or pushes it away.
To truly Love – Your life perceptions, Your life attunements and desires, Your manifestations and your actions, Your compassions, Your expression, and Your intuitions – require value. So open yourself up to Love, and let’s both nourish and surrender to, your matters of the heart

Your personal goals should be supporting you, completing you – not pushing you into a competition, or misery, or feelings of pressure or fear.
There is a balance to be struck – a line from development to growth.
Lifestyle is a choice – YOUR choice, and it’s to be be nurtured, not ignored. Too many say I can’t – but they should, they’re not being as true to themselves as they could be. This is easy for me to see because I have come out on the other side, but I promise you that you too, can gain that perspective. It’s tricky to navigate because you deeply believe you are doing everything in your power – You’re working as best you can with what you have. And you’re not giving up. And since it’s January and we’re all a buzz about resolutions, and we’re fresh with effort – let’s talk sustainability – and making the right tweaks toward improvement and success. Let’s talk about rising up to the challenge, about finding, and holding on to your motivators and inspirations. Let’s talk about stepping outside that cozy comfort zone. Let’s talk about stepping in to your courage.
It’s about letting go of what isn’t working. It’s about making a positive shift. It’s about being honest with yourself. It’s about understanding your expectations and intentions – and dedicating your time and energy. It’s about strategy. It’s YOU, in training.
Your goal is a doable practice, am I right? There are key areas in your life you should be looking at – the areas that develop and strengthen your Mind, Body, Spirit … and Nutrition is one of the key components. Food is the longest relationship you have in this life – do not discount the power of it.
